CCADV Awarded Verizon HopeLine Grant

The Colorado Coalition Against Domestic Violence (CCADV) recently received a HopeLine® from Verizon grant of $20,000 to expand its work. Verizon Wireless’ HopeLine program supports domestic violence prevention and awareness programs in Colorado and nationwide.

CCADV Staff and Friends “Proud” to Take Part in Denver’s Pride Celebration

CCADV Staff and Friends created a human rainbow at the Big Gay 5k in Denver on June 21, 2014.

While same-sex battering mirrors heterosexual battering both in type and prevalence, its victims receive fewer protections. CCADV is a resource for ALL survivors!

2014 Colorado Advocacy in Action Conference a Huge Success

This year’s Colorado Advocacy in Action Conference, co-sponsored by CCADV and CCASA, drew over 200 attendees who chose from 24 workshops and 4 roundtable discussions over two and a half days in beautiful Vail, CO. Despite funding cuts, some participants remarked that it was the best conference to date!

CCADV Announces New Executive Director!

CCADV Wins Longest Centipede at Girls on the Run 5k!

With a time of 56:13 and a combined 20 legs, CCADV’s Centipede Against Domestic Violence won the Longest Centipede Award at the Girls on the Run 5k in City Park (Denver) on Saturday, May 10!

April marks Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). During SAAM, activists from around the country and Colorado seek to raise awareness about sexual violence and educate communities on how to prevent it.
