We’re kicking off Violence Free Colorado’s new Brown Bag Teleconference Series with ‘Don’t Fear the Reefer! Setting Policies Regarding Marijuana in Shelters’
In light of Colorado’s legalization of medical and recreational marijuana, shelter staff are faced with the conundrum of how to address marijuana in communal settings. Join this 1 hour open discussion of this issue – what are the dilemmas you have encountered? What are promising strategies to build resident and group safety? The first in Violence Free Colorado’s 2015 Brown Bag Discussion Series, this will be a chance to connect with peers and do some critical thinking on this emerging issue.

This is the first installment of Violence Free Colorado’s new monthly BROWN BAG Teleconference Series! Each month of 2015, you are invited to join Violence Free Colorado staff and experts from advocacy organizations around the state for a Brown Bag conversation!

(On January 13th, we’ll be discussing setting policies regarding marijuana in shelters)
