The CU Denver Center on Domestic Violence’s Spring 2015 Community Education Series “The Safe & Together Model” will take place on Wednesday, January 14th at the University of Colorado Denver’s Lawrence Street Center in downtown Denver.

This training will provide an overview of the Safe and Together Model and its application to child welfare interventions. It will include an introductory exploration of concepts and skills associated with successfully intervening with domestic violence perpetrators and partnering with domestic violence survivors around the safety and well-being of children. This training will also encourage cross-system collaboration to address domestic violence and child maltreatment. The training is presented by Heidi Rankin of David Mandel and Associates.
